Travelrest® is an innovation-led company dedicated to one goal: making travel more comfortable. Born from a founder's frustration and a pair of running shoe laces, our flagship Travelrest® pillow redefined what it means to sleep on the go.

At Travelrest®, we believe that travel shouldn’t be a test of endurance. We know firsthand the exhaustion of long-haul flights and the frustration of never quite finding a comfortable position. That’s why we’ve dedicated ourselves to one mission: creating innovative solutions that allow you to arrive at your destination feeling rested and ready.

The idea for the Inflatable Travelrest® pillow originated with our founder, John Mittelstadt, during his uncomfortable flights to Asia. Struggling to sleep, John found airline pillows bulky and unhelpful. On one flight, he tied the airline pillow to his headrest to keep it in place, leading to his "a-ha" moment for a tethered travel pillow. Recognizing the need for a better option, John developed a design that allowed travelers to sleep comfortably while sitting upright. After perfecting his invention and filing for a patent, the inflatable Travelrest® pillow became an instant hit for those wanting to arrive at their destination well-rested.

At the heart of our invention is the desire to set our products apart from what's available today. This mission drives us to create better, more comfortable travel solutions. John has developed inflatable travel pillows, blankets, memory foam pillows, sleep masks, and luxurious pillow covers to meet travelers' needs.
